Rae Lynn served as the Director of Communications and Development for Affinity Mentoring from May 2018 to October 2022. They led efforts to advance Affinity’s mission through strategic communications, branding, and fundraising initiatives. Rae Lynn’s work focused on articulating the impact of mentoring, strengthening relationships with stakeholders, and securing funding from public and private sources. Below are some of the organization's goals and how Rae Lynn's contributions helped drive progress and create lasting impact.

COMMUNITY FEEDBACK

Created public summaries of the Community Listening Project’s results, available in both Spanish and English, to showcase how community feedback guided resource allocation and priorities.

ACCESSIBLE, TRANSPARENT COMMUNICATIONS

Oversaw a bilingual website redesign, adding accessible public resources like 990s, annual reports, and evaluations to enhance transparency and accountability, to build trust in the community.

TARGETED CAMPAIGNS

Developed targeted campaigns to recruit diverse mentors and secured partnerships with local agencies led by people of color, showcasing the need and giving specific ways to act.
