Alyson served as Communications Manager for Kids’ Food Basket from November 2019 to February 2022. In this role, she developed key media relationships that secured national coverage for high-profile events such as the Jill Biden Presidential Tour, Detroit Tigers Caring Tour, and Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation Be Kind campaign. Her social media strategies drove exponential growth, with engagement increasing by over 100% across multiple platforms and Twitter engagement skyrocketing by 2,600%. She provided strategic multicultural counsel to executive leadership during a social media crisis, helping to advance DE&I initiatives and spearheading efforts to diversify suppliers, partnerships, volunteers, agencies, and the donor base.

After her tenure at Kids’ Food Basket, Alyson founded Más, where she was contracted by Kids’ Food Basket to continue leading communications efforts, furthering their mission and impact in the community.
